This New Years I went on a trip with some friends.

During one leg of the road trip, my friend requested rather fervently that we play "Unreachable Peach" from B's new album. This song speaks to me and I get a little moist-eyed when I listen to this B's words, they touch my heart in a place that I can't communicate through mere words, but I know you all understand.

It moved me deeply to be a part of spreading B's music to those I love, I got to see that her music has affected others similarly. My friend explained that he "loves" Unreachable Peach and I know exactly what he means.

What strikes me about this song and the rest of the album is the Universality of the songs. That they describe experiences and perspective with universal application that allows me to relate and even take ownership of the stories that she weaves into her music. I have and get to re-live these experiences and express my emotion in ways that I could not on my own. The experience of this is very healing.

I think her's is a very rare talent, not just to write a song of this quality once in a while, but to fill albums with songs that are easy to connect with and fraught with depth and meaning.
